I sit at my couch thinking, how? Why? I was bleeding, right after Kat stormed out of my house. I had to leave for the interview radio show. Bandage up my arm and act like everything was normal. But it wasn’t, how did I get cut? The pocketknife..wasn’t mine. I mean I have one with my initials on it. All I remember was waking up at the porch outside of my window. Before that nothing…like a huge gap of space. Maybe to find out who cut me..I have to go back to where I was before I blacked out.
5 days before blackout
Sitting on a bench, I just woke up. My back ached and I was hungry. I realized I needed to let someone know I was okay. So I went to a phone booth and put in one of my last quarters.
Kat: Who is this?
Kat: Jek are you okay? Where are you? I’m come get you know
Kat: What about your match for IWO?
Kat: Jek you need to come home
I hung up on her I couldn’t come home yet, I wasn’t ready. I walked down to the street corner and look at the shop’s window. A sign that said “ I went to New Orleans”. That’s right I was in LA, not the Hollywood kind. My stomach growls, I dig for cash in my pocket. Damn only 11 cents, motherfucker. I look around and see New Orleans, how they make there quick cash. Musicians, Impersonators, Artists, Mind readers, how can I make cash. I take off my hat says Saints at the top. And I see and dude over in the corner playing a guitar I sit next to him and put my hat down.
Chance: Wanna make some cash, All I need is 10 dollars the rest is yours okay?
Man: Sure, what are you gonna do?
Chance: Rap
I yell at the people standing by, and tell my new homie to give a beat.
Chance: I stand here looking for some cash, to have a meal really fast
I don’t ask for much you know people gotta eat, some of you might even have seen me on the tv.
IWO wrestling Its not to big, Doesn’t make me special but give me some money for a fig.
The people of New Orleans unite everyday, even when sometimes its hard for us to stay.
Money is the issue taxpayers, bills and financial issues, ever since Katrina we have been a wreak.
I for one wanna change our rep, we are built as the trash of America even through we survived this mess.
So everyone stand up and be proud for where you came from, we live one life no mess it up over some bastards that hate us.
